Inventory Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

 Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across assigned dark stores or warehouses.

 Manage stock levels efficiently to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory.

 Oversee the rapid sorting, dispatch, and delivery of orders to meet quick delivery goals.

 Coordinate manpower and vehicle allocations to ensure timely dispatch of shipments (2500-3500 daily).

 Drive operational performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded across all stores.

Inventory & Capacity Planning:

 Monitor real-time inventory and ensure optimal product availability in each dark store.

 Align stock replenishment with demand forecasts to support rapid delivery operations.

 Lead hiring efforts to ensure dark stores are fully staffed during peak hours.

 Work closely with central operations to align resources with business forecasts and peak demands.

People Management & Leadership:

 Lead and develop a high-performance team by providing regular training and on-the-job coaching.

 Manage shift rotations, leave schedules, and weekly offs to ensure uninterrupted service.

 Foster a positive team environment and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Compliance & Vendor Management:

 Maintain adherence to SOPs and ensure stores meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

 Manage vendor relationships for smooth operations, including invoice reconciliation and payment processing.

Customer Service & Reporting:

 Drive exceptional customer service by achieving On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery targets consistently.

 Generate and share real-time MIS reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

 Collaborate with central operations to address performance exceptions and resolve bottlenecks promptly.

Required Skills:

 Strong leadership and team management skills, especially in fast-paced environments.

 Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities.

 Proficient in Excel and capable of generating detailed MIS reports.

 In-depth knowledge of quick commerce operations and last-mile delivery.

 Strong vendor management skills and experience working with multiple service partners.

 Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and software.

 Awareness of information security processes and industry best practices.
