Job Summary
The Inventory Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions.
Stock Control & Replenishment
Track inventory consumption trends and forecast stock requirements.
Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment of stock.
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
Generate stock reports and recommendations for management review.
Warehouse Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage and handling of materials.
Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
Support material inward and outward processes.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices where applicable.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Maintain inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
Generate reports related to stock ageing, consumption, variance, and reconciliation.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Support implementation of inventory management best practices.
Participate in process optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Diploma/Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–4 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, etc.) preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
