The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day inventory operations in a manufacturing unit. This role ensures accurate inventory records, timely stock reconciliation, and smooth flow of materials for uninterrupted production processes.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production without overstocking.
Track incoming and outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits and reconciliation.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams to forecast material requirements.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
Manage GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), stock registers, and inventory databases.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or variances.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
Assist in implementing inventory control systems and processes (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, JIT).
Generate periodic inventory reports and share with relevant departments.
