Inventory Executive

Job Title: Inventory Executive – Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) Dark Store

Location: Bangalore
Salary: Up to ₹4.5 LPA

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Executive to manage end-to-end inventory operations for a fast-paced F&V Dark Store. The role requires strong knowledge of fruits & vegetables handling, stock accuracy, quality checks, and coordination with store operations to ensure smooth fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels for all Fruits & Vegetables SKUs.

• Perform daily stock audits, cycle counts, and variance analysis.

• Update GRN, stock adjustments, and inventory records in the system.

• Monitor expiry, shrinkage, wastage, and report deviations to management.

Quality & Freshness Control

• Ensure F&V items meet quality standards at the time of receiving, storing, and dispatching.

• Implement FIFO/FEFO for all perishable items.

• Coordinate with vendors for replacements in case of damage/quality issues.

Inbound & Outbound Coordination

• Manage receiving of stock from vendors and distribution centers.

• Oversee put-away process and maintain proper storage conditions.

• Support picking/packing team with accurate stock availability and replenishment.

Dark Store Operations

• Work closely with Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Monitor stock refill timings, shrinkage control, and daily order fulfilment accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in F&V inventory management, preferably in Q-commerce, supermarkets, or dark stores.

• Strong understanding of F&V quality parameters, shelf life, and handling.

• Knowledge of inventory MIS, stock audits, and ERP/WMS systems.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume operations.

• Good communication and analytical skills.

Work Schedule:

• 6 days a week

• Rotational shifts (as per store operations)

Preferred Candidates:

• Experience from Q-commerce companies like Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Dunzo, Reliance etc.

• Candidates currently residing in Bangalore.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 0 - 6+ years Experience.
