Inventory Executive

• An Inventory Executive manages stock levels by overseeing the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency, while also minimizing costs and preventing overstock or understock. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records using inventory software, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, conducting audits, analyzing data to forecast demand, and implementing strategies for process improvement in the supply chain. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Control:
• Monitor and manage daily inventory levels, track stock usage, and conduct physical counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Supply Chain Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain precise records of all inventory, including purchases, shipments, and returns, using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Demand Forecasting:
• Analyze sales data and market trends to predict future inventory needs, ensuring sufficient stock to meet demand.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify inefficiencies in inventory and shipping processes, and implement strategies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Reporting:
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, supply chain progress, and operational efficiency for senior management.
• Quality Assurance:
• Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to identify and report damaged items or other discrepancies.
