Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

Monitor daily stock movement across stores/warehouses.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams for stock planning.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Analyze inventory trends, sales patterns, and stock aging reports.
Generate reports related to inventory variance, shrinkage, and replenishment.
Maintain accurate data in ERP/MIS systems.
Present inventory insights and operational reports to management.

Operations & Control

Monitor inward and outward stock transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and inventory reconciliation.
Reduce inventory discrepancies and operational losses.
Improve inventory processes and implement best practices.
Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams for timely stock movement.

Compliance & Accuracy

Ensure adherence to company SOPs and audit requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy across all channels/stores.
Support internal and external audits.
