Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Department: Warehouse
Location: Dhekiajuli (Assam)
Reports To: Inventory Manager / Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, managing, and controlling stock levels across warehouses, stores, and production units within the apparel business. The role ensures accurate inventory records, supports smooth supply operations, and minimizes stock discrepancies and losses.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, trims, finished goods, and packaging.

• Conduct routine cycle counting and yearly stock audits.

• Ensure timely stock replenishment for retail stores and online channels.

• Track inward/outward inventory movement in ERP systems Excel, etc.

Store & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse teams, retail stores, and production units for stock transfers.

• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and barcoding of apparel inventory.

• Monitor stock aging, slow-moving, and dead stock.

Data & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.

• Reconcile physical stock vs system stock; investigate discrepancies.

• Track SKU-wise movement and inventory accuracy.

Supply Chain & Operations Support

• Assist merchandising and procurement teams with material planning.

• Monitor order fulfillment for e-commerce and retail orders.

• Maintain records for inward invoices, GRN, and stock returns.

Experience

• 2–4 years experience in apparel inventory/warehouse operations.

• Experience in retail, fashion, textiles, or garment manufacturing preferred.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
