
Key responsibilities
Receiving and inspecting: Accept deliveries, unload shipments, and carefully inspect items for damage or discrepancies, comparing them against the relevant paperwork.
Documentation and record-keeping: Accurately record the items received and update inventory systems. Report any shortages or damages to the appropriate manager or shipping agent.
Stocking and organization: Put away received goods in their designated storage areas or onto shelves.
Inventory control: Assist with monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed to ensure a sufficient supply.
Workspace maintenance: Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
Communication: Effectively communicate with other team members, managers, and shipping agents about the status of deliveries.

Physical ability: Must be able to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
