Import Freight Forwarding Executive

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive - Import to overseeing and managing all Import activities within an organisation. An Import/Export Executive manages and oversees the process of importing and exporting goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing logistics for efficiency. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods across international borders. 

Key Responsibilities:

• PO Generation and Documentation.

• Timely submission of all required documents to the relevant authorities before paper filling process, such as customs, port authorities, CHA and Banks within before Shipment Custom Clearance Process and ensure:

• Track containers with shipping lines from Port of Loading (POL) to Port of Destination (POD) till arrival at Inland Container Depot (ICD) and update in master sheet.

• Shipment Document Review.

• Payment Schedule Intimation for Import Consignments.

• Capture Document Lodgments Process with Banks

• Effective Inter-Departmental Coordination.

• DGFT Registration.

• KYC Documentation and Filing

• Good verbal & written communication skills.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Import department in the electrical or manufacturing sector .(preferably in power transmission).

• Experience should be in import Activities.

• Exceptional organisational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems with Import Department.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
