JOB DESCRIPTION 1: Customer Service – Sea Import

Position: Customer Service Executive – Sea Import

Department: Sea Import / Customer Service

Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Salary: 20-30k

Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service professional with 2–3 years of experience in Sea Import / Freight Forwarding. The candidate will be responsible for handling import shipments, coordinating with customers and various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and timely shipment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day Sea Import customer service activities independently.

Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation and delivery updates.

Handle import documentation and ensure all required documents are received and processed on time.

Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, transporters and other stakeholders.

Follow up on shipment arrival, documentation, clearance and delivery status.

Maintain regular communication with customers and provide timely updates.

Resolve customer queries and coordinate internally for timely solutions.

Maintain proper records of shipments, documentation and customer communication.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and import documentation requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline; relevant logistics qualification will be an advantage.

2–3 years of relevant experience in Sea Import / Freight Forwarding.

Good knowledge of Import Documentation and Shipment Coordination.

Strong customer handling and follow-up skills.

Good coordination skills with shipping lines, CHA and other stakeholders.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
