Import Export Executive

The Import and Export Logistics Executive is responsible for handling the end-to-end logistics processes for international shipments. This role ensures timely, compliant, and cost-effective import and export operations, coordinates with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams, and ensures that all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Import Operations:

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers to schedule shipments

• Handle shipping documentation (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation

• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities

• Handle clearance procedures and resolve any customs issues

• Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments and costs

Export Operations:

• Prepare export documents in compliance with destination country laws

• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, and forwarders for dispatches

• Coordinate logistics for export orders including booking shipments

• Ensure timely clearance and shipment of goods

• Arrange for appropriate labeling, packing, and transportation

• Track deliveries and provide updates to stakeholders

• Handle post-shipment documentation (e.g., Certificate of Origin, BL)

General:

• Maintain and update records in ERP or logistics systems

• Monitor freight costs and negotiate with shipping providers

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and company policies

• Support audits and documentation reviews as required

• Work closely with the procurement, sales, and finance departments
