Hub Supervisor

Job Description:

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods, effective coordination with drivers, customers, and internal teams, and smooth execution of logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily vehicle operations, dispatch, and deliveries

• Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and customers

• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of consignments

• Monitor vehicle movement, routes, and trip planning

• Maintain trip-wise records, POD, and delivery confirmations

• Handle driver attendance, duty allocation, and discipline

• Track fuel usage, toll expenses, loading/unloading activities

• Report delays, breakdowns, or incidents to management

• Ensure vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC, Permit) are valid

• Coordinate with accounts team for billing, expenses, and settlements

• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies

• Maintain daily operational reports and logs

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of logistics & transport operations

• Ability to handle drivers and ground staff

• Basic knowledge of billing, POD, and documentation

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, GPS systems)

Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 / Graduate (Preferred)

• Experience in transport / logistics company is mandatory

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 6 years of experience.
