The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods, effective coordination with drivers, customers, and internal teams, and smooth execution of logistics activities.
Supervise daily vehicle operations, dispatch, and deliveries
Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and customers
Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of consignments
Monitor vehicle movement, routes, and trip planning
Maintain trip-wise records, POD, and delivery confirmations
Handle driver attendance, duty allocation, and discipline
Track fuel usage, toll expenses, loading/unloading activities
Report delays, breakdowns, or incidents to management
Ensure vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC, Permit) are valid
Coordinate with accounts team for billing, expenses, and settlements
Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies
Maintain daily operational reports and logs
Knowledge of logistics & transport operations
Ability to handle drivers and ground staff
Basic knowledge of billing, POD, and documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, GPS systems)
10+2 / Graduate (Preferred)
Experience in transport / logistics company is mandatory
