To supervise day-to-day operations including parcel sorting, dispatch, delivery coordination, and team management, ensuring timely and efficient movement of shipments in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of delivery executives, sorters, and ground staff.
Monitor daily parcel sorting, packaging, and dispatching processes.
Ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed within committed timelines.
Track shipments and resolve any delivery exceptions or customer escalations.
Coordinate with hub managers, riders, and third-party vendors for smooth operations.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure team adherence.
Maintain shipment records, logs, and delivery reports.
Monitor productivity, attendance, and discipline of the team.
Train new hires and provide ongoing skill development for the operations team.
Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in logistics or courier operations.
Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
Good knowledge of local routes and delivery zones.
Familiar with logistics software and shipment tracking systems.
Ability to handle pressure and resolve last-mile issues quickly.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, tracking tools, MIS).
Strong communication and coordination skills.
