The Lead – Hub Operations owns end-to-end hub performance, people leadership, and operational excellence across last-mile delivery operations, ensuring productivity, SLA adherence, cost control, and superior customer experience.Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Hub Operations Ownership• Own inbound, sorting, dispatch, and outbound operations to ensure 100% shipment accuracy and on-time delivery.• Ensure strict SOP adherence across route planning, bag handling, safety, and compliance standards.• Drive operational readiness and stability during peak volumes and events like Big Billion Days (BBD).2. Team Leadership & Performance Management• Lead, coach, and manage G5 Executives and Wish Masters to deliver high productivity and engagement.• Plan rosters, shifts, and manpower capacity to meet daily and peak demand.• Handle escalations, grievances, and corrective actions to control attrition and absenteeism.3. Performance Governance & KPIs• Track and improve KPIs such as Attempt Rate, Breach %, NDR, Conversion %, and Productivity.• Analyze performance trends and implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).• Ensure real-time monitoring and quick resolution of operational bottlenecks.4. Financial, Inventory & Asset Control• Own COD reconciliation with zero cash variance and audit compliance.• Ensure zero stock variance through daily audits of pending, returned, and misrouted shipments.• Manage and safeguard hub assets including bags, scanners, POS machines, and infrastructure.5. Reporting, Analytics & Stakeholder Management• Prepare and review Day End Reports (DER), RCAs, and performance dashboards.• Maintain high data hygiene and transaction accuracy in ERP/HMS/WMS systems.• Act as the central SPOC with Area Managers, Central Ops, Transport, and Support Teams.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Graduate in any discipline (BBA / B.Com / B.Tech preferred).Experience: 4 –8 years in logistics, last-mile, supply chain, or hub operations with team handling exposure.Technical Skills: Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS dashboards).Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP / HMS / WMS platforms.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Delivery Attempt Rate & Same-Day Delivery %.• NDR reduction and first-attempt success rate.• Zero customer escalations due to hub delays.• Productivity per Wish Master.• Zero cash and stock variance.NoteAs a G7 employee, you are expected to live Flipkart’s core values — Audacity, Bias for Action, Customer First, and Integrity.
