Forklift Operator & Forklift Driver & Reach Truck operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operator Reach Truck:

  Maneuvering the reach truck to lift, lower, and transport materials and products. 

• Loading and Unloading:

  Safely loading and unloading trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles. 

• Material Handling:

  Moving materials to designated locations within the warehouse, including storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks. 

• Inventory Management:

  Maintaining accurate records of product locations and quantities. 

• Equipment Maintenance:

  Performing routine checks and maintenance on the reach truck, and reporting any malfunctions. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies related to material handling and equipment operation. 

• General Warehouse Duties:

  May also be involved in other warehouse tasks, such as order selection, pallet wrapping, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. 

• Assisting with Layout:

  Helping to optimize warehouse layout for efficient workflow and storage. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Reach Truck Operation: Proficiency in operating a reach truck and other material handling equipment. 

• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation. 

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying materials. 

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in inventory tracking and material handling. 

• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with other warehouse personnel. 

• Basic Maintenance: Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks. 

• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
