Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
Assist in receiving shipments, verifying quantities, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts and transfers.
Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials, reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in safety training and contribute to workplace safety initiatives.
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely material availability for production.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper storage of materials and disposal of waste.
Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
Valid forklift operation certification and knowledge of safety regulations are essential.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
