Job Description: Sales Floor Manager – B2B (Exterior HPL Sheets)

Job Purpose
The Sales Floor Manager will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and monitoring the sales team (both telecallers and field sales executives) to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive B2B revenue, manage the sales pipeline, provide product training, and personally also close key accounts in the architectural/construction sector of own target.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Target Achievement (60%)
Target Ownership: Take full accountability for the total B2B monthly and quarterly sales target of the team.
Daily Monitoring: Monitor daily sales activities, call logs, and site visits of telecallers and field sales staff to ensure productivity.
Team Motivation: Motivate the team to hit targets, manage absenteeism, and maintain high performance, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
Onboarding & Training: Onboard new hires and conduct regular product training sessions focusing on HPL sheet applications, technical specifications, and USP.
Performance Tracking: Conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve sales techniques.
2. Personal Sales & Business Development (30%)
High-Value Closing: Actively manage and close high-value B2B deals with Architects, Interior Designers, Fabricators, and Builders.
New Client Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities and build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.
Site Visits: Perform field visits for critical client meetings, project site inspection, and technical consultation.
3. Operational Support & Reporting (10%)
CRM Management: Ensure all data, client interactions, and leads are updated correctly in the CRM system.
Reporting: Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the HR Manager.
Stock Coordination: Collaborate with the production/dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of HPL sheets to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales management, specifically in HPL laminates, construction materials, architectural products, or veneers.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a team of 5+ members (field and telecallers).
Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of exterior HPL sheet applications, cladding, and installation processes.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client negotiations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
