Job Title: Cinema Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cinema Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of the cinema at Gopalan Mall. The role involves managing staff, ensuring seamless movie screenings, driving customer satisfaction, handling financials, and maintaining the highest operational and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cinema operations including box office, concessions, housekeeping, and auditorium management.

• Supervise and schedule staff (ticketing executives, ushers, concession staff, housekeeping, and projection team).

• Ensure smooth coordination of movie schedules, projector operations, and on-time show management.

• Monitor ticketing systems, daily sales reports, and cash handling procedures.

• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve escalations effectively.

• Maintain hygiene, safety, and security standards across cinema premises.

• Coordinate with film distributors for releases, promotions, and marketing activities.

• Implement crowd management strategies during weekends, holidays, and blockbuster releases.

• Train and mentor staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

• Prepare and present weekly/monthly operational and financial reports to management.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline (Hotel / Event / Retail Management preferred).

• 4–7 years of experience in cinema/multiplex or hospitality/retail operations.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of cinema projection, ticketing, and concession operations preferred.

• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
