Job Description

Hiring: Fleet Operations Coordinator – Sam Transports, Coimbatore

Sam Transports, a leader in specialized chemical and industrial acid transportation, is looking for a Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our team in Coimbatore.

What You Will Do:

  • Fleet Tracking: Daily communication with drivers to track GPS/KM status and update the Fleet Management System (FMS).

  • Fund Management: Act as the point of contact for driver fund requests (advances, trip expenses) and coordinate with Finance following our established SOPs.

  • Fuel & Maintenance: Oversee daily fuel requirements, manage payments to stations, and secure management approval for maintenance bills.

  • Account Reconciliation: Collect and verify driver bills against account statements to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Data Administration: Maintain meticulous records of loading/unloading details, driver attendance, and vehicle mileage in Excel and FMS.
