About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized Fleet Manager to join our operations team at MBT Pune.

Role Objective: To oversee our Full Truckload (FTL) operations, ensuring that every vehicle is dispatched efficiently, safely, and on time while maintaining seamless communication with the broader supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities

FTL Management: Oversee and manage daily Full Truckload (FTL) load assignments and dispatch operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain team to align fleet availability with loading and delivery schedules.
Dispatch & Routing: Ensure all vehicles are dispatched efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
System Monitoring: Track fleet movements using GPS and vehicle tracking software to ensure timely deliveries and driver safety.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any on-the-road logistical issues, delays, or routing challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong mix of experience, organizational capability, and logistical know-how.

Experience: 1 to 6+ years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, or logistics.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to coordinate multiple moving parts with a strict attention to detail.
Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict dispatch deadlines.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience and proficiency with modern Vehicle Tracking Systems and fleet management software is highly preferred.
Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to liaise with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
