Fire Officer

• Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular inspections of fire safety systems (e.g., alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency exits).

• Monitor compliance with fire safety regulations and report violations or risks.

• Train employees and occupants on fire prevention and emergency response.

• Lead fire evacuation drills and evaluate response effectiveness.

• Coordinate with local fire departments and emergency services as needed.

• Investigate fire incidents and prepare detailed reports.

• Maintain and update fire safety records, inspection reports, and incident logs.

• Recommend improvements in fire protection systems and emergency plans.

• Ensure readiness of all fire-fighting equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Fire Safety Certificate from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of [0-2] years’ experience in fire safety or emergency response roles.

• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA, local fire regulations).

• Experience conducting fire drills and training sessions.

• Familiarity with fire detection and suppression systems.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Physically fit and able to respond in emergency situations.

• Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering or related field.
