Factory Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Factory Supervisor to manage day-to-day production operations, order processing, inventory control, and logistics for our plastic packing material manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate must be organized, responsible, and experienced in factory workflow and material procurement from the local market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Order Management

• Oversee daily production as per customer orders and priority list.

• Ensure timely completion, quality checks, and dispatch readiness.

• Coordinate with workers/machine operators to maintain workflow.

• Track partially completed and pending orders, and update status regularly.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain stock of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables.

• Conduct daily/weekly stock audits and update records.

• Identify low-stock items and arrange timely replenishment.

• Maintain reorder levels and ensure no production stoppage due to shortage.

3. Logistics & Dispatch

• Manage packing, loading, and dispatch of customer orders.

• Coordinate with transporters, couriers, and delivery partners.

• Generate delivery challans, dispatch sheets, and ensure on-time deliveries.

• Track shipments and manage return orders if any.

4. Market Procurement

• Arrange raw materials and consumables from the local market when required.

• Negotiate competitive pricing and ensure good quality materials.

• Maintain relationships with local vendors and build new supplier connections.

5. Factory Operations & Reporting

• Supervise staff attendance, work discipline, and task assignment.

• Maintain production logs, daily reports, and stock registers.

• Implement safety, cleanliness, and proper machine handling practices.

• Report daily production and inventory status to management.

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of packing materials or related manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Strong coordination, planning, and team management skills.

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel/WhatsApp reporting).

• Ability to handle pressure and achieve production targets.

• Must know local market routes and vendor network.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
