Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities for wood and metal furniture/interior products. The candidate will be responsible for managing production workers, coordinating with design and procurement teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities for wood and metal work.

• Allocate work to carpenters, fabricators, welders, polishers, painters and other production staff.

• Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time.

• Read and understand drawings, dimensions, BOQs and production specifications.

• Coordinate with the design, purchase, stores and installation teams.

• Check quality of raw materials and finished products.

• Ensure proper cutting, fabrication, welding, carpentry, finishing and assembly.

• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

• Maintain daily production and manpower reports.

• Track production targets, pending work and dispatch schedules.

• Identify production issues and take corrective action.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment.

• Maintain workplace discipline and ensure workers follow safety procedures.

• Coordinate with vendors/contractors when outside fabrication or finishing work is required.

• Conduct final quality checks before dispatch.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the factory floor.

Required Skills

• Experience in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-out or metal fabrication.

• Good knowledge of carpentry and metal fabrication processes.

• Ability to understand technical drawings and measurements.

• Strong manpower and production management skills.

• Knowledge of quality control and material management.

• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Basic computer knowledge for production reports and Excel.

• Ability to work under production deadlines.

Experience

Preferred: 2–7 years in furniture manufacturing, interior production, woodwork, metal fabrication, or a similar factory environment.

Education

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in a relevant technical or manufacturing field is preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, disciplined and capable of managing a production floor independently. Experience handling both wood and metal production teams will be an advantage.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 6 years of experience.
