JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Dispatch Executive – Warehouse
Location: Vanagaram, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Dispatch Planner will play a key role in coordinating and scheduling the movement of goods from warehouse to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Dispatch Scheduling: Plan and organize daily dispatches based on customer orders and delivery priorities.

·       Coordination: Liaise with warehouse, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth dispatch operations.

·       Documentation: Prepare and verify dispatch documents including invoices, delivery notes, and transport records.

·       Tracking & Monitoring: Monitor shipments, track delivery status, and resolve delays or issues promptly.

·       Order Accuracy: Ensure correct items and quantities are dispatched as per customer requirements.

·       Vendor & Transporter Management: Coordinate with logistics partners for vehicle availability, route planning, and timely pickups.

·       Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of dispatches, returns, and pending deliveries in ERP/Excel systems.

·       Compliance & Safety: Ensure dispatch operations adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

·       Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in dispatch planning and suggest improvements for efficiency.

·       Customer Support: Provide timely updates to sales and customer service teams regarding delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

• Education:

o   Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline.

·       Experience:

o   2-5 years of experience in Hands-on experience managing store activities individually

o   Proficiency in MS Office

·       Skills:

o   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o   Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

o   Basic understanding of HVAC&R products and technology is a plus, or a willingness to learn.

o   Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o   Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

o   Enthusiastic, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
