Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and schedule delivery routes for company vehicles and drivers.

  • Dispatch drivers to assigned delivery locations based on order priorities and customer requirements.

  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure on-time deliveries.

  • Track shipments using GPS or dispatch software and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams to confirm product availability and loading schedules.

  • Handle customer inquiries about delivery times, delays, or issues, ensuring professional communication.

  • Record and maintain delivery logs, route sheets, and driver performance reports.

  • Monitor vehicle usage and schedule maintenance as needed.

  • Identify route optimization opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
