1. Voyage (Cargo) and Period Enquiry Updates

Ship Position Updates
Routing Records Updates
Circulation List Updates
Flyers Formats Updates (Ship, Cargo, News & Events)
Cargo Analysis
Ship Analysis
Clients Analysis
Updates and Records Analysis
Post Fixture Coordination
Inter-Departmental Coordination
Post Fixture Documentation, Execution & Records
Ground Duty
Fixing vessels on voyage charter and time charter
Negotiating freight rates / hire, laycan, demurrage & dispatch
Finalizing Charter Party (CP) terms (GENCON, NYPE, etc.)
Studying vessel availability and cargo demand
Advising management on best chartering opportunities
Matching cargo requirements with suitable vessels
Voyage estimation (bunkers, port costs, canal dues)
Ensuring profitable fixtures
Daily coordination with ship owners, brokers, and charterers
Handling recap, CP drafting, and fixture confirmation
Resolving commercial disputes during voyage
Monitoring voyage performance
Handling demurrage / dispatch calculations
Coordinating with operations team
Reviewing NOR, SOF, and laytime statements
Knowledge of charter parties
Negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and across time zones
Checking overnight emails and fixtures
Reviewing vessel positions (open tonnage list)
Checking cargo stems / market circulars
Scanning freight market reports (Baltic, broker reports, WhatsApp cargo groups)
Updating tonnage list
Matching open vessels with cargo enquiries
Sending cargo offers to brokers/traders
Sending vessel positions to market
Freight negotiation with charterers/brokers
Discussing laycan / rates / terms
Voyage estimation (TCE calculation)
Reviewing CP terms (GENCON, NYPE, amended clauses)
Internal coordination with operations & management.
Any other job assigned by the reporting authority or management.
