Role Overview
The Dispatch Executive (Field Work) is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and executing dispatch operations on-site. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, managing field documentation, liaising with drivers, vendors, and clients, and resolving issues in real time to maintain smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Field Dispatch Operations
Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and ensure timely dispatch of goods/materials.
Verify shipment details, quantity, and quality before dispatch.
Ensure proper loading/unloading of materials at sites.
Maintain accurate records of dispatched and delivered items.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with drivers, transporters, warehouse teams, and clients.
Communicate real-time dispatch status to the operations team.
Handle on-ground issues such as delays, route changes, or vehicle breakdowns.
Documentation & Reporting
Collect and submit delivery challans, invoices, and proof-of-delivery (POD).
Ensure compliance with company dispatch procedures.
Update dispatch logs and prepare daily field reports.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure drivers follow safety guidelines and transport regulations.
Conduct on-site checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
Graduate (any stream).
Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or field operations preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of local routes and transport procedures.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, mobile apps, ERP/logistics apps).
Problem-solving and ability to work independently on field.
Other Requirements
Willing to travel frequently for field assignments.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred).
