Job Summary
The E-commerce Fulfillment & Dispatch Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end order fulfillment operations, including order processing, picking, packing, shipping coordination, inventory management, and quality control. The role ensures timely, accurate, and premium delivery of Maison World products while maintaining high standards of packaging, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Management
Monitor incoming orders from the website, marketplaces, and other sales channels.
Verify order details before processing.
Prioritize urgent, express, and same-day dispatch orders.
Ensure all orders are processed within defined service timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order-related issues.
2. Product Picking & Packing
Pick products accurately according to order requirements.
Verify SKU, quantity, batch number, and product condition before packing.
Assemble and package orders according to Maison World packaging standards.
Maintain luxury presentation and premium unboxing experience.
Use appropriate shipping boxes, fillers, and protective packaging materials.
Ensure packaging quality and product safety during transit.
3. Label & Documentation Management
Generate shipping labels through Shiprocket and other logistics platforms.
Print invoices, shipping labels, and packing slips.
Affix labels accurately and securely.
Verify customer and consignee information before dispatch.
Maintain shipment documentation and records.
4. Dispatch Coordination
Schedule and coordinate pickups with courier partners.
Liaise with logistics executives during order pickups.
Maintain dispatch schedules and courier records.
Track shipment status and resolve pickup or dispatch delays.
Escalate logistics issues and coordinate resolutions.
5. Inventory & Stock Control
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Monitor stock movement and packaging material consumption.
Report low-stock situations and replenishment requirements.
Assist in stock audits and physical inventory verification.
Ensure inventory accuracy across systems and physical stock.
6. Production & Packaging Support
Assist in product filling, labeling, and secondary packaging activities when required.
Handle packaging materials and finished goods with care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment area.
Follow operational and safety guidelines during production support activities.
7. Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain daily order processing records.
Track dispatched, pending, returned, and cancelled orders.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly fulfillment reports.
Maintain courier performance and logistics documentation.
Support management with operational data and analysis.
8. Quality Assurance
Conduct final quality checks before dispatch.
Ensure no damaged, defective, or incorrect products are shipped.
Identify and report packaging defects, stock discrepancies, or operational issues.
Follow quality standards to minimize customer complaints and returns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or operations is an added advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, dispatch, or logistics.
Freshers with strong operational aptitude may also apply.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of e-commerce order processing workflows.
Familiarity with Shiprocket, Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, and similar courier platforms.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience with inventory management and label printing systems.
