A Dispatch Executive oversees the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods. They manage the entire logistics lifecycle from packing to shipping, including processing invoices, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with transport vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Packing: Verify picked orders against shipping documents and oversee quality control during packing to prevent damage.
Documentation: Prepare tax invoices, delivery challans, waybills, and other dispatch documents to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
Transportation & Fleet Coordination: Liaise with transport agencies, negotiate freight rates, and assign the most cost-effective and efficient routes.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, conduct stock checks, and reconcile any discrepancies.
Customer & Vendor Communication: Update stakeholders on shipment status, delivery schedules, and handle any transit-related issues.
