Job Title: Dispatch Executive (Sweets Shop)
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
Receive and review customer orders from in-store, online, or wholesale clients.
Coordinate with production/kitchen staff to check product availability.
Packing and Dispatching:
Ensure accurate and hygienic packing of sweets/snacks.
Label packages correctly with order details, expiry dates, and customer information.
Organize the dispatch schedule for timely delivery.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with delivery personnel or third-party logistics providers.
Assign routes and track delivery progress.
Handle urgent or bulk delivery requests efficiently.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of ready stock and packaging materials.
Inform procurement or production if any item is running low.
Quality & Hygiene Checks:
Ensure items being dispatched meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety protocols during handling.
Customer Communication:
Update customers about order status or delays.
Handle dispatch-related complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Record Keeping:
Maintain logs of orders dispatched, returns, and pending deliveries.
Generate daily/weekly reports for management.
Key Skills Required:
Time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (for order tracking & inventory)
Team coordination
Familiarity with local delivery areas
Understanding of food safety standards
Problem-solving skills
Qualifications (Suggested):
Minimum: 12th pass or diploma
Preferred: Experience in retail, FMCG, or food industry dispatch/logistics
