Plan and forecast logistics activities aligned with workload demands.
Manage identification and disposition of inbound materials.
Control plant and customer stock until shipment.
Coordinate trucking for inbound/outbound shipments, including adherence to import/export regulations.
Assign team tasks and enforce company and safety policies.
Maintain and update shipping documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipment documentation and processes.
Evaluate cost-control measures and automation opportunities.Facilitate operational meetings to promote best practices and process improvements.
Track quality, quantity, stock levels, transport costs, and delivery efficiency.
Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce for productivity and safety.
Manage inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliation.
Fulfill regulatory and customs requirements for shipments.
Use logistics and ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and transportation management software.
