Branch Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Branch Manager to lead our operations and business growth in Kolkata. The candidate must come from a courier/cargo background with strong operational expertise and excellent knowledge of local deliveries, vendor networks, and route planning. In addition to managing daily operations, the Branch Manager will be responsible for bringing new business leads and ensuring client retention to support the company’s growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete branch operations including pickup, delivery, dispatch, and staff supervision.

• Ensure smooth execution of local deliveries and PTL cargo movement.

• Build and maintain a strong network of local vendors and service providers.

• Plan and optimize routes for efficient movement of loads.

• Generate new business leads and actively contribute to branch revenue growth.

• Retain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular interaction and service quality.

• Monitor operational performance with MIS reports and ensure adherence to SOPs.

• Resolve client issues promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.

• Ensure cost control and profitability at the branch level.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in courier/cargo/logistics operations.

• Strong knowledge of Kolkata routes, delivery network, and vendors.

• Proven experience in branch management and business development.

• Excellent client relationship management and negotiation skills.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
