Ward Boy

• Supervise daily waste collection and street cleaning operations in the assigned ward.

• Manage and monitor the performance of waste collection staff, drivers, and sanitation workers.

• Ensure timely deployment and proper routing of waste collection vehicles.

• Inspect streets, public areas, and garbage bins to maintain cleanliness standards.

• Maintain attendance records and duty rosters for all ward-level workers.

• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste as per SWM Rules, 2016.

• Coordinate with the control room and higher authorities for issue escalation.

• Provide on-ground training and safety awareness to workers.

• Maintain records of complaints received and ensure timely resolution.

• Submit daily reports and MIS to zonal managers or municipal supervisors.

• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of PPE by workers.
