Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate should be friendly, attentive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
Process bills and handle payments accurately.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
