Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Cafe Server & Smoothie Maker to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be the face of our cafe, greeting guests with a warm smile, taking orders, and crafting our famous smoothies and drinks. The ideal candidate is a multitasking pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Server:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the cafe and provide them with menus.

• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations and answering questions about our menu items.

• Process payments using our POS (Point of Sale) system, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.

• Ensure all front-of-house areas, including tables and seating, are clean, tidy, and welcoming.

• Deliver orders to customers with a positive attitude, ensuring they have everything they need.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.

As a Smoothie Maker / Barista:

• Prepare and craft a variety of beverages, including smoothies, juices, coffee, and teas, according to our recipes and quality standards.

• Wash, chop, and prep fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.

• Operate blenders, juicers, espresso machines, and other cafe equipment safely and effectively.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage station.

• Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a customer service, food service, or hospitality role is highly preferred (e.g., server, barista, cashier).

• A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

• A team player with a positive and can-do attitude.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Food Handler's Certificate is a plus, but not required upon hiring (must be willing to obtain).
