Waiter

A waiter/waitress delivers high-quality service by greeting guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, serving items, and processing payments. They maintain dining area cleanliness, provide menu recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key skills include communication, multitasking, and knowledge of health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions regarding ingredients or allergens.

• Order Management:

  Accurately taking food/drink orders (often using POS systems) and relaying them to kitchen/bar staff

  .

• Service Delivery: Serving food and beverages, checking on guest satisfaction throughout the meal, and refilling drinks.

• Table Maintenance: Setting up tables with linens/cutlery, clearing dirty dishes, and ensuring dining area cleanliness.

• Payments: Presenting checks, handling cash/card transactions, and processing payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Communication: Excellent verbal skills for interacting with guests and team members.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift heavy trays.

• Math Skills: Basic skills for handling payments and making change.

• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality is often preferred, but many roles offer on-the-job training

• It is a Full Time Waiter / Steward job for candidates with Freshers.
