Waiter

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

   • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, positive manner.

   • Take accurate customer orders, provide menu recommendations, and clarify any queries.

   • Ensure the customer service experience is fast, friendly, and professional.

   • Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

   • Process payments accurately and provide receipts.

   • Ensure that every customer leaves with a smile and a great impression.

2. Food & Beverage Preparation:

   • Prepare food and beverages according to restaurant recipes, standards, and safety guidelines.

   • Operate kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.) to prepare items quickly and to perfection.

   • Assemble orders and serve food promptly and efficiently.

   • Ensure that food and beverages meet company quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.

3. Efficiency & Speed of Service:

   • Work quickly to meet the high-speed demands of a busy QSR environment.

   • Manage multiple orders at once while ensuring accuracy and quality.

   • Support other team members during peak times to ensure efficient service.

4. Cleaning & Hygiene:

   • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the front-of-house and back-of-house.

   • Regularly sanitize kitchen surfaces, dining areas, and restroom facilities.

   • Follow proper procedures for handling food, ensuring all safety and health regulations are met.

   • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking items as necessary.

5. Inventory & Stock Management:

   • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the management team.

   • Assist with restocking supplies in the kitchen and dining area.

   • Help keep track of inventory and assist in managing the restaurant’s resources.

6. Teamwork & Collaboration:

   • Work closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals.

   • Provide support to fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations.

   • Assist with training new employees and share knowledge of restaurant procedures.

7. Health & Safety Compliance:

   • Adhere to all company food safety and health regulations, ensuring safe food handling practices at all times.

   • Ensure compliance with all cleaning and safety protocols.

   • Wear appropriate uniform and maintain personal hygiene standards.

8. Additional Duties:

   • Take on any other tasks or responsibilities as requested by the management team.

   • Assist in preparing for promotions, new menu items, or special events.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Experience: Previous experience in a fast-food, customer service, or restaurant environment is an advantage, but not required.

• Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

  • Attention to detail, especially with food preparation and customer service.

  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of duties at once.

  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25-30 kg.

  • Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
