Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and present menus
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
Respond promptly to customer requests or complaints and escalate to management when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
Process bills and handle payments accurately
Follow all health and safety standards and restaurant policies
Work collaboratively with other team members including hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables
Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills
