Waiter

Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and present menus

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system

• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner

• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service

• Respond promptly to customer requests or complaints and escalate to management when necessary

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas

• Process bills and handle payments accurately

• Follow all health and safety standards and restaurant policies

• Work collaboratively with other team members including hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Friendly and customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables

• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills
