Job Title: Team Member

1. Job Summary

The Team Member is responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations by delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving food as per company standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Customer Service

• Welcome customers and assist them with menu selections and orders.

• Take customer orders accurately and ensure timely service.

• Handle customer queries politely and escalate complaints to the Shift Manager when required.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality and professionalism.

B. Food Preparation & Service

• Prepare food items according to company recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

• Follow food preparation procedures and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.

• Ensure orders are packed correctly and served within the prescribed timelines.

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Follow FIFO practices and check product expiry dates before use.

C. Billing & Order Management

• Process customer orders and billing accurately through the POS system, as assigned.

• Verify order details before handing over food to customers or delivery partners.

• Follow company procedures for order cancellations, discounts, and refunds.

• Ensure proper coordination for dine-in, takeaway, and online delivery orders.

D. Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, counters, equipment, and storage areas.

• Follow personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment at regular intervals.

• Dispose of waste according to company guidelines.

E. Inventory & Stock Handling

• Assist in receiving, checking, storing, and arranging stock.

• Handle food products and materials carefully to prevent damage and wastage.

• Inform the Shift Manager about low stock, damaged products, or discrepancies.

• Support stock counting and inventory verification whenever required.

F. Operational Compliance

• Follow company SOPs, food safety standards, and operational guidelines.

• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct.

• Attend training sessions and implement the instructions provided.

• Support opening and closing activities as assigned.

• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and operational irregularities to the Shift Manager.

G. Teamwork

• Coordinate with kitchen, service, and other team members during operations.

• Support colleagues during peak business hours.

• Complete assigned duties within the required timelines.

• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive working environment.

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass; as per company requirements.

• Experience: Freshers can apply; prior restaurant or QSR experience is an advantage.

• Skills: Communication, teamwork, customer service, and basic numerical skills.

• Other Requirements: Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business requirements.

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
