Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating.

• Present menus, explain dishes, and answer guest queries politely.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.

• Serve food and beverages as per service standards.

• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Table & Dining Area Management

• Set up tables before service (cutlery, crockery, napkins, condiments).

• Clear tables promptly after guests leave.

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.

• Refill water, bread baskets, and condiments as required.

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are maintained.

• Handle crockery and glassware carefully to avoid breakage.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.

• Assist senior stewards/captains during peak hours.

• Support colleagues to ensure efficient operations.

Compliance & Reporting

• Follow restaurant SOPs, service protocols, and company policies.

• Report guest complaints or operational issues to the supervisor immediately.

• It is a Full Time Waiter / Steward job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
