Job Title: Restaurant Waiter / Server
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus and explain daily specials or recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
Communicate orders to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.
Check on customers during meals to ensure satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints politely and report issues to the manager.
Prepare and present bills to customers.
Process payments (cash, card, or digital payments).
Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables.
Required Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and coordination with kitchen staff
Basic math skills for billing
Attention to detail
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in restaurants or hospitality is an advantage
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
