Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Serve food and beverages as per company standards.
Set up and clear tables before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, pantry, and service stations.
Ensure tables, cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and properly arranged.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
Handle customer requests and resolve basic concerns politely.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

Minimum qualification: 10th/12th Pass (Hotel Management candidates preferred).
0–2 years of experience as a Steward, Waiter, or in the hospitality industry.
Freshers with good communication skills are also welcome.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Well-groomed and presentable personality.
