Key Responsibilities

Junior Steward

• Greet guests politely and assist them with seating.

• Serve food & beverages promptly and professionally.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.

• Assist seniors in handling guest requests and complaints.

• Ensure cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and properly arranged.

• Follow safety, hygiene, and grooming standards.

Senior Steward

• Supervise and guide junior stewards in daily operations.

• Take food & beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen.

• Ensure high-quality guest service and handle escalated guest queries.

• Monitor table settings, cleanliness, and service standards.

• Train and mentor new staff members.

• Support restaurant supervisors/captains in smooth operations.

• Assist in billing and payment handling if required.

• Maintain inventory of service equipment (cutlery, crockery, linen).
