Job Summary:
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining area, and service stations. They assist in dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and ensuring all utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and organized for smooth kitchen operations.
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and service areas.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation as required.
Collect and dispose of kitchen waste properly.
Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
Refill cleaning supplies and chemicals as needed.
Maintain proper storage of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
Support service staff during peak hours with setup and clearing tables (if applicable).
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Minimum 10th pass or equivalent education.
Prior experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering preferred
