Job Title: Steward
Job Summary:
A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. They support kitchen staff by ensuring utensils, dishes, and workspaces are clean and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and clean utensils, dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, and storage areas
Ensure proper waste disposal and follow hygiene standards
Assist in basic food preparation (if required)
Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and inform when restocking is needed
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy operations
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
Basic education (10th pass or equivalent preferred)
Prior experience in hospitality is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina
Team player with a positive attitude
