Steward

We are looking for a Steward to join our team Compass Group India to provide excellent hospitality service to the Users. In this role, you need to setup the buffet, food hygiene ,ensure user satisfaction throughout their Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner sessions. The position offers an in-hand salary of 14000 to 16000 and a friendly work environment.

This role profile is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake. It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances, and you may be required to be flexible and perform other duties as required by your manager. 

Key Responsibilities

1. To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues.

2. To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times.

3. To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations 

4. To actively gain customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager.

5. To promote good safety habits and methods of work

6. To serve customers with hot and cold food and beverages on a counter during service times as appropriate

7. To ensure all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements

8. To maintain food service and  temperature records as required and to report any variance

Person Specification

Excellent customer service skills are essential in this role, as is good verbal communication. Previous experience in similar customer facing role is desirable. It is important that you are a good team player and have a flexible approach and attitude. You may be asked to multi skill to other areas of the operation. You should be adaptable and willing as well as passionate and hard working.
