## Steward – Job Description
**Position:** Steward
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned area.
* Clean and arrange tables, chairs, service areas, and equipment.
* Assist guests/customers with basic service requirements.
* Serve food and beverages as instructed.
* Collect and clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery.
* Ensure proper availability of crockery, cutlery, and other service items.
* Follow company hygiene, safety, and service standards.
* Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff for smooth operations.
* Handle customer requests politely and professionally.
* Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
**Requirements:**
* Good communication and customer-service skills.
* Polite, well-groomed, and presentable personality.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Previous experience in hospitality/service is preferred but not mandatory.
* Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays.
