A Steward assists in providing quality food and beverage service by supporting wait staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
Set up tables with proper linen, cutlery, and glassware
Serve water, bread, and food as instructed
Clear tables and reset them after guests leave
Maintain cleanliness of dining area and service stations
Handle crockery and cutlery carefully
Assist waiters and captains during service hours
Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards
Support buffet setup and clearance
Basic communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to work long hours standing
Teamwork and positive attitude
Minimum school education preferred
Freshers can apply; experience is an advantage
