The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of all kitchen areas, cooking utensils, dishware, and equipment. The role supports chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring a safe, clean, and organized workspace, enabling smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, worktables, and equipment.

• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with sanitation standards.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

• Follow all safety and hygiene policies, including HACCP guidelines.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations and buffet setups.
