About the Role
The Senior Waiter/Steward independently executes the full-service cycle from guest greeting through to payment with consistent accuracy, warmth, and speed aligned to Pizza 4P's Omotenashi standards. Having established foundational habits at the junior level, this candidate should own their station, handles point of sale and billing tasks, coordinates with Kitchen and should support freshers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver all service steps to SOP standard with correct timing, sequence, and hospitality tone.
Proactively monitor tables for guest needs and anticipate requests before they are made.
Execute the complete service sequence independently including greeting, seating, order taking, food and drink running, table care, and farewell.
Handle allergen and modifier records accurately and confirm orders verbally with guests before submission.
Set up and close assigned stations correctly and maintain fully stocked side stands throughout the shift.
Coordinate service pacing with Kitchen, Bar, and other service teams to manage table flow and minimize delays.
Complete shift handovers clearly, ensuring the incoming team has full situational awareness.
Operate the billing system accurately with correct modifiers, seat numbers, and special notes.
Present bills and process all payment types per SOP, managing splits and change correctly.
Demonstrate working knowledge of the full menu including ingredients, allergens, and pairings.
Confidently make recommendations and communicate specials, promotions, and seasonal items to guests.
Assist Pre-level Partners with simple service tasks and SOP demonstrations when assigned.
Maintain grooming, uniform, and station sanitation standards consistently throughout every shift.
Report incidents, hazards, or guest complaints to the Leader promptly and factually.
